I think it’s about time to start up my blog!
My name is Jamie Masselink, a freelance photographer from Lakewood, Colorado, USA. I am a wife and mom who left a corporate software engineering job in 2018 to spend time with my young daughters and pursue my passion for photography. I pride myself in artfully capturing images, freezing moments to enjoy for a lifetime.
My favorite subjects (other than my daughters) are flowers, butterflies, insects, and landscapes. As a photographer, I love to take candid snapshots of families, children, and babies. I thrive when I can capture a moment for my clients that makes them grin from ear to ear. Having one of my photographs grace the wall of their home is one of the most flattering things I can think of and it keeps me continuing to work hard to make my photos better.
As a photographer, anytime I have my camera with me, I can practice and improve. My goal is to capture the image as I see it, telling its story to you from behind the lens.
